We were in another one of our fights,
another argument over our fears,
Could it be.
The to and fro dragged on,
soon she was gone,
the room was now hollow,
the atmosphere mellow,
could it be.
Started with an average talk,
it escalated into a fray,
I should have just taken a walk,
she would still be here today,
could it be.
